Pet Friendly Beach Forest Lodge in Ballito is a luxury self catering guesthouse, which comprises of four self catering apartments.

We are situated in the heart of Ballito – only 400m from the beach and yet we overlook the Pigeonwood Forest – giving a completely private, secluded and peaceful environment. There is abundant bird life and we are visited frequently by the Vervet Monkeys who live in the surrounding area. A few minutes away you can enjoy lovely promenade walks along the beachfront, and there are many places to visit and things to do in and around Ballito – with plenty of activities for children.

Our apartments can sleep 2, 4 and 5 people – plus we give a special for two people only, in the larger apartments during low season.
We have secure parking and the entire property is walled and gated.
There is free WIFI, DSTV with flat screen TV and air conditioning in each apartment.
The kitchens are fully equipped and each apartment has its own private braai facilities.
Relax at the beautiful pool and deck area or visit the two large koi ponds where you can sit peacefully in the shade and listen to the sound of running water.

Three of our apartments are pet friendly – with direct access to the tropical gardens.
As animal lovers, we believe that your four legged friend should be able to join you on holiday. We have walkways on the property – but grassy verges are easily accessible just outside on the edge of the forest. A short walk into the ‘old Ballito village’ you will find a dog friendly restaurant with a delightful dog menu, to allow your pet the privilege of dining with a sea view! Owners to provide pet bedding and covers for furniture – bowls are available on request. We have our own dogs and cats on the property so animals are to be well socialised.

Rules for all our Best Friends visiting: DOGGY/PET HOUSE RULES 1. Pets must be housetrained and sociable, we regret no vicious breeds. 2. All your animals ‘business’ must be picked up and disposed of appropriately (flushed in your toilet) immediately. Please do NOT throw doggy-do into the flower beds. Please inform management immediately should your animal make any mess inside so that I can ensure it has been cleaned effectively. 3. Please ensure your animal does not bark incessantly and disturb other guests. Your animal must always be kept under control. 4. Please do not leave your animal at Beach Forest Lodge whilst you go out – your animal must always be with you. 5. No pets allowed in the swimming pool at any time! 6. Please bring your pets own bedding/bowls/food etc. 7. Please also ensure that you bring your own blanket/towels/sheets for covering the furniture. Do NOT use any of the Lodge towels for your animals. 8. Inoculations must be up to date and we are a ‘flea free zone’! 9. There is a once off R250 charge per pet, per stay. Management reserves the right to terminate your stay, without refund, should any of these rules be breached. ** PLEASE NOTE : WE HAVE OUR OWN CATS AND DOGS ON THE PROPERTY – YOUR ANIMAL MUST BE CAT FRIENDLY…..
