In a world of consumerism, overpriced products, and excessive consumption, isn’t it time to find the true luxury of staying in a place that is built from materials from the past, harness the sun’s energy for electricity and use nature to create harmonious cottages linked to mother earth?

This hobbit inspired pet-friendly cottage is the last and most remote cottage built into the riverbank and has been created with the nature lover in mind. A stone weir offers a natural river pool for swimming with a covered outdoor dining area and terraced braai area.

This cozy cottage has two single beds which can convert to a queen and a king-size bed in the master suite. There is a bathroom featuring a skylight, a fully equipped kitchen, and a grassy lawn and a seating area next to the river.

A potbelly stove provides warmth in the winter and when the river is flowing, it’s calming sounds will lull you to sleep along with the summer breeze. If you cross the bridge over the river there is space to relax and picnic under the giant oak tree, or explore the river walks.

Please note that due to the lingering effects of the drought the Botrivier is not always flowing in summer. However, an above ground plunge pool has been provided in the private garden.
