Peas on Earth offers guests the opportunity to absorb life on a tranquil farm on the picturesque Wild Coast. Our accommodation is situated on Mpetukop Farm, approximately 20km from Komga, Kei Mouth, Morgan Bay and Haga Haga. Our 6ha small-holding is a working farm, producing fresh, naturally grown herbs, fruit and vegetables. We also keep pigs, horses and chickens. Guests wishing to explore the farm and learn more about its inner workings are welcome to do so. For those that would prefer to simply sit back and enjoy the atmosphere, we will make sure the farm respects your privacy. A small farm with a big heart… Peas on Earth is a unique experience. Step back in time to a rural wonderland where horses still work the fields and crops are planted and harvested in accordance with the moon cycles. Choose to relax, enjoy the spectacular views and keep a look out for a passing giraffe… Or get your hands dirty and earn yourself a free meal. Learn how to work with horses on the field, discover the secrets of astrological growing and other permaculture techniques. Share your skills with the local community through a visit to the nearby farm school or get involved with one of the local soccer team’s practices. As ardent animal lovers, we know that many people want their pets to enjoy their holidays and weekdays away as much as they do. Due to this, we welcome both dogs and horses to come and stay at the farm with their owners. In addition to the attractions of the popular coastal towns in the area, our neighbouring farm, Ocean View, also boasts a Natural Heritage Site, and Wild Coast Horse Trails, just a few kilometres down the road, have a wide range of trails and horses.
