Pet Friendly Bokmakierie is a rustic cottage, which sleeps 4. Come and enjoy our little farming town, with its streets lined with historical sandstone buildings. We pride ourselves when the flower season starts, as being one of the most beautiful towns in the Northern Cape. Maybe we are bias, but sometimes one can be just that! Being the bulb capital of the world, there is not much for us to stand back for when it comes to our flora. Please don't just stay for one night or only during the flower season, you will otherwise have to return. Many of the surrounding farms also offer accommodation, and be sure to capture their passion whether it is farming with sheep, rooibos or wheat. Bring your mountain bikes, go visit the waterfall and the Hantam Botanical garden, and whatever you do, don't forget to see our beautiful quiver tree forest. Birders and star gazers will not be disappointed, and remember to pack your hiking boots too! Accommodation: There is a bedroom with a double bed and another with two single beds, a lounge with a fire-place, a lounge without a fire-place, a bathroom and kitchen. There is no shower. There is a very nice outdoor braai area behind the house. The bedrooms are equipped with bedding and electric blankets. Extra blankets are provided. There is also a cot. The kitchen is fully equipped for 4 people, and has a fridge, a two-plate gas stove and an electric frying pan.
