We offer rustic pet friendly bush lodge-style accommodation, hiking, birding, camping, 4x4 trails, kayaking and mountain biking. Since the farm does not have the Big 5, you are free to explore the 1100 ha on foot or bring your own mountain bike with you! We are a carbon sensitive eco-establishment. Grootfontein is a half hour drive on a dirt road from the main road so it is off-the-grid living. You will enjoy hot showers powered by gas, gas fridges and solar powered lights.
