Where can you find a Tuffee dog bed?

The popular Tuffee Range of dog beds are available online and from most vet or vetshops around South Africa.

How is the Tuffee Dog Bed made?

The cloth used for this range of pet beds is an industrial water-resistant fabric.  It is very durable and very tough, hence the name of the range.

The Tuffee Range includes round and rectangular dog beds with removable cushion covers, bean bags and kennel mattresses in black fabric with pink, blue, red or grey piping.

Who is Afripet?

Afripet is the brain-child of Gail Leighton who was inspired to create her own range of pet products after seeing the wide selection available in the U.S.A. whilst on a visit there in 1994. As an avid animal lover, Gail was amazed when she could not find a comfy bed or snug jacket in Cape Town for her Great Dane pup Duke. So Gail set about designing her own range to cater for her most discerning customers! Afripet was born way back in 1996 and it has been growing ever since.

From humble beginnings, they now have a factory in Retreat, Cape Town and make their own exclusive designs and prints. The removable dog-bed covers are 100% cotton and its their mission for their furry customers to be comfortable in their beautiful Afripet beds.

Do they offer a repair service?

When customers get over-zealous (or simply bored) and chew their beds, they repair them as part of their exclusive service and dedication to them! They have happy Afripet customers all over the world wearing their jackets and sleeping on their luxurious beds.
