Lilica The Junkyard Mutt

Lilica is a junkyard mutt with the biggest heart we have ever seen in a dog.

This special pooch was dumped by her owners at the local junk yard and this is where she made her place called home.  She made friends with all the animals at the junk yard, including the other dogs, cats and chickens.

One day Lilica fell pregnant and had 8 puppies and with such a large family to feed, she had no option but to venture out of the yard to go and search for food.  During the dark and dangerous nights, crossing roads and escaping danger, she went looking for food to feed her family.

It was during this search that she found another beautiful soul named Lucia who would feed her every night.

Lilica's puppies were eventually all adopted, but this did not stop her to continue back to Lucia for food.  But what made this pooch so special, is that even after the puppies had left her care, she would continue to bring back the food and share it with her family of dogs, cats and chickens at the yard.

See the video of this beautiful story that unfolds in the town of San Carlos, Sao Paulo, inland Brazil.
