Pet ownership is not always who paid for the animal, but sometimes where the connection of 2 souls get to meet.  Whilst it is still seen as an object and not a sentient being by many, we have to allow the heart and the souls meet.  A ring on a finger (or not), or a receipt of ownership is not always what dictates where the heart wants to be.

How should we love others?
If you love someone, set them free.  If they come back, they are yours for ever, if not, find the right heart that will come back to YOU.  

Can we demand love from our pets (or partners)?

No, we can not dictate who must love us, we can only hope that those who we love, will love us back.  And this goes for both human and animal love.  Be the person you want to be, and allow those that love you to do so.   Fighting for someone or an animal to love you is not going to be the answer. 

Should we ask for permission to love another?Yes, we believe this is the only way to love.  Loving and caring for others with their permission, is what makes them come back for more.  It is allowing us to love others.  

What exaclty is Self-Love?

If we love others without their permission, it becomes self-love.  This means that we only love the way that they make us feel or how we allow them to make us feel (often in the case of loving a pet too)..  True love is when both humans and animals have a choice who to love, not because they are confinded to a cage or a chain, a ring on a finger or a receipt.  

Did Judge Judy do the right thing?

We believe that even though the lady had the paperwork and paid for the dog, sadly this dog fell in love with what happens to look like her ex boyfriend or husband.  The dog wanted to be with him more than with her, but she seemed not to be interested in that fact, all she did care about was that the dog actually was for her mother who never owned a pet before.  Are those tears from the two ladies for the loss of the self-love concept or for the loss of true love?  You can decide for yourself.

What would be the right thing to do when it comes to giving pets as gifts?

The right thing to do is to never buy someone a pet as a gift, but rather allow them to go out and make that choice for themselves.  Often pets as gifts fail and in the end it is only the animal that suffers.  In this case, the dog did find someone that he loved and who loved him back.
