The question that we want to answer today is: "Why do some businesses succeed and some fail when all common denominators are equal?" What is meant by that is, if the location is the same, the economic circumstances are the same, even working in the same industry, why does the one business succeed and the next fail?
The answer lies in you, the entrepreneur. What makes a good entrepreneur makes all the difference. Here are some prerequisites:
- Great Leader
- Great Thinker
- Great Planner
- Great Advisor
- Great Executer
- Great Negotiator
- Great Competitor
- Great Salesperson
- Great Self-promoter
- Great Customer-service-agent
This is an exhausting list, isn’t? It is kind of impossible to be that great, isn’t it? How do people become that great? Luckily that answer is very short and simple.
"Do what you value in life and you will be great at what you do!"
It sounds easy, doesn’t it? It is but it requires one important thing, that you must be honest with yourself. A lot of people that I know love their pets and love animals. Let us use the example of starting an Animal Rescue shelter: People think that opening an animal shelter is what they will value most in life. Not correct, they value animals, a shelter is a business. The correct question would be: do you place value in a business that deals in animal welfare? Do you value marketing, finance, cleaning cages, dealing with distress animals and people? You can only be successful if you value all the things required to make business successful. All businesses are the same, it is just the product or service that differs.
Once you find out what your truly value - meaning the things that you spend time, money and energy on - then all the other things will become very easy and fall into place. You will be great in everything you do!
Live your true values!
