WODAC Pet Expo July 2015

Plan a “Pawsitively Purrfect” visit to the 20th Annual World of Dogs & Cats PET EXPO (WODAC)

South Africa’s most cherished pet expo, the World of Dogs & Cats and Pet Exhibition (WODAC PET EXPO) is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Join in the fun and festivities and make new furry, feathered and slippery friends at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, Gauteng from 17-19 July 2015.

If you are a committed pet enthusiast, or simply want to explore the possibility of owning a pet, this is the place to be. Meet the breeds among dogs, cats, horses, birds, aquatic creatures, reptiles, rodents and more, and learn about the rewards of responsible pet ownership.

WODAC PET EXPO offers hundreds of exhibits as well as shows and competitions to entertain the whole family. Two arenas will host dog competitions and demonstrations of agility, dancing with dogs; obedience and more; the WODAC National Cat Show; as well as equine breed parades, among others. This magical 20th birthday celebration show will also host, for the first time, the National Baby Koi competition.

Experience the magic of animals as you explore the Hall of Dogs, Hall of Cats, Equine Area, Hall of Snakes and Reptiles, and other exhibits. Take advantage of special show pricing and promotions to purchase the products and services your pet needs and the treats and gifts that will set their tails wagging, throats purring, coats shining and eyes twinkling.

This year, the “Pupparazzi” and adoring fans and visitors will see their favourite South African celebrities literally jump through hoops with champion agility dogs. And it’s all for a good cause. The proceeds of this event will be presented to selected animal welfare groups represented at the expo. The challenge will take place on Sunday 19 July, so save the date!

Throughout its 20-year history WODAC PET EXPO has always put responsible pet ownership first. Take advantage of lectures and workshops on topics of interest and value to pet parents, and take your time chatting with breeders, club representatives and The Kennel Union of Southern Africa, who can help you decide which pet will make the perfect addition to your family.
