Brief description of service Peanut Animal Welfare is a non-profit organisation consisting of volunteers actively involved in Melkbosstrand with the following:
- Sterilisation programmes for domestic, stray and feral pets
- Primary animal health services and assistance to the poor with the transport of ill or injured, scheduled dipping and deworming programmes and feeding schemes
- Assistance with lost & found pets
- The fostering and/or re-homing of pets
- Addressing animal abuse or neglect
- Advocating microchipping of pets
- Assisting the elderly in Melkbosstrand through home visits and monitoring of their pet’s welfare
We are always on standby and regularly called out to assist with the rescuing and/or capturing of stray dogs and cats. We believe in partnerships and want to invite you to contact us if you require assistance and to support us.
